Alison Gansert Kertis is a Reno native who graduated from Bishop Manogue Catholic High school before pursuing her higher education from coast to coast.
Her legal practice is focused primarily on civil and commercial law at the federal and state levels. She is currently a member of the State Bar of Nevada, State Bar of California, State Bar of Wisconsin, Washoe County Bar Association, Western Trial Lawyers Association and Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association.
Alison received her Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School in 2015.
She graduated from Santa Clara University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religious Studies. She earned a Master of Arts in Ethics and Society in 2012 from Fordham University. She continued her studies receiving her Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School in 2015. Prior to joining Robertson, Johnson, Miller & Williamson, Mrs. Gansert Kertis served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Scott Freeman of the Second Judicial District Court.

In Reno, she has a large extended family and appreciates the accessibility to a wide range of outdoor pursuits. In her personal time, she enjoys Vinyasa yoga and hiking in Reno’s open spaces with her husband and their two dogs. Mrs. Gansert Kertis serves in the community as a volunteer with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America and with the Young Professionals Big Recruitment program, helping younger industry professionals connect with experienced mentors in the business world.
