G. DAVID ROBERTSON
is a highly-accomplished lawyer with over 25 years of experience. His courtroom skills have been widely recognized. Mr. Robertson has conducted nearly 100 trials with a success rate of over 90%, and has obtained many jury verdicts over One Million Dollars. Indeed, Mr. Robertson’s very first jury trial in 1986 resulted in a $1.3 Million verdict for his client, which was upheld on appeal. Mr. Robertson also recently received a jury verdict in excess of Fifteen Million Dollars, which amount was paid in full without appeal.

Mr. Robertson's legal career also involves a substantial public service commitment. He has frequently served as a pro tem judge (1988 – present) and has been appointed to numerous political and legal committees (including the Nevada Natural Resources Committee (2006 – present), the Nevada State Bar Disciplinary Committee (2005 – present), the Nevada State Bar Standing Committee on Judicial Ethics and Election Practices (2008 - present), the Nevada State Bar Lawyer Referral and Information Service (2004 – present) and the Washoe County Bar Association Technology Committee (Chairman 1997 – 2000)). He currently sits as a director on several corporate boards for aircraft-related companies and is currently counsel to the Squaw Valley Ski Corporation, which owns and operates the world’s largest privately-owned ski resort (Squaw Valley, U.S.A.). He has also received multiple awards for his volunteer work with non-profit organizations, including service for two local churches.

MR. ROBERTSON began his legal career by graduating from law school with honors. He published a law review article regarding a controversial water-related treaty. He was then chosen from hundreds of applicants to be a law clerk for the Honorable Bruce R. Thompson, Senior United States Federal District Judge for the District of Nevada (1983-1985).

While clerking for Judge Thompson, Mr. Robertson gained additional expertise in water-related issues, including Truckee and Carson River water rights, due to Judge Thompson overseeing the Orr Ditch Decree and preparing the Alpine Decree. As a result, Mr. Robertson is now widely recognized as an experienced water rights practitioner who frequently appears before the Nevada State Engineer's Office, the Nevada State District Courts, the Federal District Courts and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in water-related matters.

Although Mr. Robertson normally represents businesses and corporations, he particularly enjoys representation in his areas of personal interest. For example, as an airplane and helicopter pilot, Mr. Robertson has a keen interest in aviation and has represented numerous parties relating to aircraft matters. In addition, Mr. Robertson is also a member of a national organization that encourages safe motorcycle riding. As a result, Mr. Robertson has represented many motorcyclists who have been injured by the negligence of others.

MR. ROBERTSON is a member in good standing of the following organizations: the American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Western Trial Lawyers Association, Nevada Justice Association, California Bar Association, Nevada Bar Association, Tahoe-Truckee Bar Association, Washoe County Bar Association and the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association.
